Q.              Is it a must to have Wudu’ during most rituals of Hajj and particularly during Tawaf?

A.              Wudu` is a must for Tawaf.   If it is broken while circumambulating the Ka’ba, one must break the tawaf, do wudu’ and go on.   Wudu` is not a must for the other rituals.

Q.            Is it permissible for a woman to use some pills to stop her menses during the days of Hajj?

A.              There is no objection for doing so.

Q.          Our wives and sisters cover their face and wear gloves, should they stay covered or show their faces and hands?

A.                It is preferable for a lady who is used to cover her face to still do so; she can pull her own scarf over her face, or she can cover with a scarf coming from the back of the head.  In other words, she cannot wear her regular cover if it is the kind that has an opening for the eyes like those used so often in Qatar.  As for the hands, they should be uncovered.  She is prohibited to wear gloves
