Q. Is it a must to have Wudu’
during most rituals of Hajj and particularly during Tawaaf?
A. Ablution is a must for
Tawaaf. If it is invalidated while circumambulating the
Ka’bah, one must break the Tawaaf, perform ablution and then
resume. Ablution is not a must for the other rituals. Allaah
Knows best.
Q. Is it permissible for a woman
to use some pills to stop her menses during the days of Hajj?
A. There is no objection for
doing so. Allaah Knows best.
Q. Our wives and sisters cover
their faces and wear gloves, should they stay covered or show
their faces and hands?
A. It is preferable for a lady
who is used to cover her face to still do so; she can pull her
own scarf over her face, or she can cover with a scarf coming
from the back of the head. In other words, she cannot wear her
regular cover if it is the kind that has an opening for the eyes
(Niqaab). As for the hands, they should be uncovered. She is
prohibited to wear gloves. Allaah Knows best.
